Whenever Allah gives a blessing to a servant, and then Allah takes it away from the servant, and the servant patiently endures his loss, then Allah rewards the Servant with a blessing which is better than the one Allah took away. [Omar bin Abdul Azeez]

All things in life are temporary. If going well, Enjoy as, they will not last forever. If going wrong, don't worry, they can't last long either

Darkness is of five types and its lamps are five –

1) Love of the dunya is a darkness and its lamp is God-consciousness;
2) Sins are a darkness and their lamp is repentance;
3) The grave is a darkness and its lamp is: ‘There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah’;
4) The Hereafter is a darkness and its lamp is righteous actions; &
5) The path is a darkness and its lamp is certitude.

- Abu Bakr as-Siddiq radyAllahu`anhu

“How amazing is the affair of the believer. There is good for him in everything and that is for no one but the believer. If good times come his way, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him, and if hardship comes his way, he endures it patiently and that is better for him.”[Muslim]

“Turn away from your worries,
And entrust your affairs to His Decree.

Rejoice at the good which will soon be,
You will then forget what has gone by .

Perhaps an issue which upsets you,Holds at its end what will gladden you.

Indeed Allah does what He wishes,& He NEVER burdens His slave with anguish."

And if Allah has written for your heart to be broken, then no one will be able to remedy it except HIM.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Shall I not tell you of something which, if some of the misery and distress of this world befalls a man and he recites it, he will be relieved of his stress. It is the du’aa’ of Dhoo’l-Noon: ‘La ilaaha illa anta subhaanaka innee kuntu min al-zaalimeen.’” (Reported by al-Haakim; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2605)

5 things

A man came to Hasan al-Basri and said, “I do not know what is the matter with us. It seems that our hearts are asleep.” Hasan al-Basri asked what was the matter. The man replied, “Our hearts are not affected when you recite the Holy Quran and Hadith to us.”Hadrat Hasan al-Basri said to him, “If reading of the Holy Quran and Hadith do not affect your hearts, do not say that your hearts are asleep. Instead say that your hearts are dead. Even a sleeping person awakes when shaken awake. If someone sleeping does not awaken when shaken, he is not asleep but dead.”

The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam.) said: “The son of Adam will not pass away from Allah until he is asked about five things: how he lived his life, and how he utilized his youth, with what means did he earn his wealth, how did he spend his wealth, and what did he do with his knowledge.” [Good hadith reported by Imam At-Tirmithi]

“Sit with those who constantly repent, for they have the softest hearts.”

Blessings

Seventy thousand of my people will enter paradise without being taken to account. They are those who do not use spells or take omens, but put their trust in their Lord. (Bukhari, Muslim).

Narrated by Abu Huraira(r.a)
The Prophet(s.a.w) said:
--"If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel saying: 'Allah loves so and so; O Gabriel, love him.' Gabriel would love him, and then Gabriel would make an announcement among the residents of the Heaven, 'Allah loves so-and-so, therefore, you should love him also.' So, all the residents of the Heavens would love him and then he is granted the pleasure of the people of the earth." --

Volume 8, Book 73, Number 66
Sahih Bukhari

"Who relies on his money, his money will be in a small quantity. Who relies on his mind, he will be lost. Who relies on his honor or his power, he will be humiliated. Who relies on Allah, he will never be poor, never be lost, and never be humiliated. Truly we are completely worthless without Allah."

(Ali Ibn Abu Talib RadiAllahuanhu)

Don’t think that someone else is more blessed than you are...
It’s just that, we are all blessed in different ways...ALHAMDULILLAH
"And HE gave you from all you asked of HIM. And if you should count the favor of Allah , you could not enumerate them." [Surah Ibrahim, 14:34]

Twin Brothers

‎~*~ Patience and victory are twin brothers, for victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress and ease comes with hardship. ~*~

"Surely, Allah is with those who are As-Sabirun (the patient).” (Al-Anfal 8:46)

‎"Patience is that the heart does not feel anger towards that which is destined (for you) and that the mouth does not complain."

-Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah (Rahimahullah)

"... (Remember,) whoever abstains from asking others, Allah will make him contented, and whoever tries to make himself self-sufficient, Allah will make him self-sufficient. And whoever remains patient, Allah will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Book 24 Hadith 548

Abu Ad-Dardaa:

“It is better to advise your friend than to severe relations with him, for no one can take the place of your friend if you lose him. Be generous and lenient with your friend, and do not allow an envious person to come between you and him, for in this case, your friend might die tomorrow and you grieve for him. However, how could you grieve after he dies, when you have shunned him when he was still alive?”

(Sifaat us-Safwah, 1/364)

Be friend with those who advice u to be a good person,

He, who reminds you the akerah,
When you sit with them you gain knowledge...
When you sit with them, your emaan goes high
You gain love for your Lord ,
You learn to fear Him more,
And stay away from SINNS!

Narrated Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him): I heard Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) saying: “A man follows his friend’s religion; you should be careful who you make friends with.” [At- Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud]
