BackBITING

Ibnu Qayyim (rahimahullaah): "There is nothing on earth that badly needs to be imprisoned more than the tongue."[al-Fawaa'id: 249]
It is very important for a Muslim to be conscious of everything he says. It can either be taken as du'a from him and answered immediately or be the chains that bind him in the hereafter.

"Beware of backbiting, for backbiting is more serious than adultery. A man may commit adultery, and drink [wine], and then repent, and Allah will forgive him.
