Save The Marriage

Love and Marriage Is Not for the Faint-Hearted!
We all dream, hope to find the love of our life. It is a yearning that exists within the nature of humankind. Hence, Islam encourages marriage and even refers to it as ‘half of our faith’. But for the sake of sanity, let’s put away the fairy-tale dreams of prince charming and happily-ever-after land and take a look at reality!

Umar (radiallahu anhu) said to a man who was thinking of divorcing his wife:

“Why do you want to divorce her?”

He said, “I do not love her.”

‘Umar said, “Must every house be built on love? What about loyalty and appreciation?”

[Al-Bayan wa at-Tabayeen, 2/101]

When you Find your spouse having done something wrong and you want to correct them then humble yourself first and advice with the best possible manners in privacy, not in public . Make very sure you don't hurt their feelings ."Whoever protects the honour of his brother, will have Allah protect his countenance from the fire on the Day of Judgement" [Al Nawawi, Riyad al Salihin p 488, Hadith no 1530]
