Pursuit of Hereafter

“Those before you used to give to their worldly affairs what was left over from their pursuit of the hereafter. But today, you give to the matters of the hereafter the left-overs from your pursuit of worldly affairs.

‎"If Allah helps you none can overcome you, and if He forsakes you, who is there, after Him, that can help you. And in Allah (alone) let believers put their trust." (Qur'an, 3:160

LIFE OF THIS WORLD:

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar(r.a): The Prophet(s.a.w) took hold of my shoulders and said, “Be in the world as if you were a stranger or a wayfarer.” Ibn ‘Umar used to say: “When you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive till the morning; and when you survive till the morning do not except to be alive till the evening; (Do good deeds) when your are in good health
before you fall sick, and (do good deeds) as long as you are alive before death strikes.” (Al-Bukhari)

Narrated by Sahl bin Sad Al-Saidi(r.a)
Allah's Apostle(s.a.w) said, "A place in Paradise equal to the size of a lash is better than the whole world and whatever is in it."
Volume 4, Book 54, Number 473 (Bukhari)
